Hemicell^® is a proprietary and unique enzyme-based feed additive for use in poultry diets. Several feed ingredients, including soybean meal, contain β-Mannan, an anti-nutritive fiber which inhibits live performance in broilers. Hemicell^® degrades and eliminates β-Mannan. Matrix values have been developed for Hemicell^® that may be used in formulating broiler rations. Hemicell^® is a non-GMO product, naturally manufactured through fermentation.

Hemicell^® Feed Enzyme is a source of β-Mannanase enzyme which degrades the β-Mannan fiber found primarily in soybean meal. The elimination of this fiber provides three commercial benefits. These are: (A) more efficient utilization of feed ingredients including water, (B) an improvement in the uniformity of broiler body weights, and (C) a reduction in mortality rates. The magnitude of these improvements are enhanced when the broilers are presented with a disease challenge.
